Our program features courses in addiction, pharmacology, relapse prevention, treatment planning and intake assessment to give you a solid overview of your duties and responsibilities as an Addiction Worker. You’ll also strengthen your communication and professional skills, including intake interviewing, record-keeping and confidentiality. You’ll train in CPR/First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) from the Official Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and participate in a work-related two-month internship so you graduate with experience, confidence and credentials.
